When I first had a blog I was terribly self-conscious. Anyone in the world with an internet connection might read it, I thought. I was scared rigid! But after a little while I relaxed, and decided no one out there would have found it at all, and I could say whatever I liked, however I liked. Which was a great theory until a friend emailed me saying, "nice blog, Grace." In a panic and with a deep sense of shame I raced to correct the rampant typos and mis-spellings which I hadn't bothered to correct.
