bummer - if they had just stolen one I'd I've assumed that someone really wanted a unicycle....but unfortunately that happens enough around here that I have to chain the bike through the frame and front wheel! BOO!
Wolfa, I was amused for about five minutes too, until it sank in that it DID happen to me.
Twirly, the worst thing is that I often DO chain through the frame and the wheel. Just not yesterday. (And admittedly not generally in our garage (which is LOCKED)).
Thanks for the tip, Morton. Considering my bicycle probably isn't worth much more than $20, I don't think I'll even try buying a new wheel from a bike shop. I'll go round some markets and second-hand places and see if I can find a written-off bike with a wheel I can remove and put on mine instead.
And I'll be far more careful about putting the lock through the wheel and frame in the future.
Boy, that's a weird thing to do. Sorry about that, Styleygeek. Must be annoying.

ReplyDeleteThat is really weird. Hope they catch the little brat!
ReplyDeleteThat might be worse than stealing all the seats...which happened to me.
ReplyDeleteThat is really amusing, especially as it did not happen to me.
