You are Linear B. Even those who can follow you think you're all Greek to them. Which, after all, is true - Linear B being the first known text for written Greek. Those characteristics are of writing systems, not of people, so they don't really make much sense :)
ReplyDeleteIdeograms are pictures each representing a concept, often confused with logograms. An example of an ideogram is a street sign, or a number. One symbol for one idea.
Syllables, well, you know what those are, right?
Logograms are like Chinese characters: each represents a word or morpheme (a morpheme is the smallest part of the word that has a meaning of its own).
And alphabets, you've probably heard of too :)
I'm not sure the "you scored higher than..." works properly, because I too supposed scored higher than 99% on each of those things, yet I came out as Linear B.

ReplyDeleteIt would improve the test if there was a page of general information about all the languages so that after you did the test you could understand how your responses led to the particular language. And I think all this 99% business might be a bug, since everyone gets that no matter what language they are attributed.
Damn. I was enjoying thinking that I was higher than 99% of people on Ideogramatic. I didn't know what it meant, but it sounds cool.
