When I lived in Southern California, we had little green parrots, and there are the same kind of parrots in San Francisco, but around here, it's nothing but herons, jays, blackbirds, and crows. Oh, magpies are kind of fun, but they're no cockatoos.

In short, I'm definitely living vicariously through your bird nerdiness.Leslie M-Bhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02434392840359276805noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20717535.post-1156293636640489222006-08-23T10:40:00.000+10:002006-08-23T10:40:00.000+10:00Glad you liked it. It was my first foray into the genre inspired by Badaunt, who is the master (mistress?) of the picture story.

It was so exciting to spot even one gang gang cockatoo. You can't imagine how overcome I was to then see the other four! And the galah stretching his wings was pretty cute, too, even if I pretended not to be interested. There were also rosellas a few metres away, but the photos of them didn't turn out well.

(The reason all the pics were a bit dark and/or over-exposed is that it was twilight already and kind of gray).StyleyGeekhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10287051608503966129noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20717535.post-1156259745477823632006-08-23T01:15:00.000+10:002006-08-23T01:15:00.000+10:00Fabulous.
