There's this sign, located not so far from the hedgehog picture of the last post.
To me, the most obvious interpretation is as a command followed by the reason you should obey. Like, "Drink water—it's healthy".

i'm glad i'm not the only one who had that reaction when they first saw it!
I can see what they're trying to say, but it's been done poorly imho.
i also dislike the "drive n txt, u b nxt" one that's not so far away... first time i saw it i found it very distracting (trying to figure out what it said... i'm a bit crap at ye olde texting language) and thought that it was likely to cause accidents through inattention...
they mean so well... yet fail so hard...
