If there's one thing worse than a presenter who reads every word of every slide to you, it's one who follows along under the words with the laser pointer as he does so. Ugh!

I had a professor - in grad school - that underlined words on her transparencies as she read them aloud. I skipped a lot of those classes and when she'd ask about it, I never quite got the courage to tell her I was perfectly able to read on my own.
oh how annoying!
