At first I thought I understood this perfectly, but then I realized that I didn't understand it at all.
Does it means that you don't want to tell strangers about your visit to the gynecologist, or that you don't want to tell people you know?
Clearly it's easier to tell strangers about trips to the gyno. Wednesday Whiners get yearly stories about my Pap Tests and the sketchy university clinic doctors that administer them. My friends and family...not so much.
We ALL have stories, too often, nightmare stories!
But you can't just hint! You have to tell!

Actually it's the thought of the student of mine who reads here that is mostly stopping me :) He SO does not need any images of me and my gyno in his head.
I think it is too late, what ever you say can't be worse than what he is already thinking :-)
Besides I agree with grace yuo can't leave us hanging is suspense like that

Gosh, if only there were a more private place to post this story. :/
On behalf of the people who don't know you, I'm disappointed :( I love sketchy and entertaining gyno stories!
