While reading a linguistics paper today, every time I came across the abbreviation for nominative case, I found myself muttering, "NOM NOM NOM" and, "Ur noun haz a flavur".
I hope it doesn't accidentally happen in front of my students.

I has a LOLcat-loving buddy and occasional professional collaborator. Recent email titles: "I can has budget?", "motivation - I'm doing it wrong" and "coffee break: I needs one. Om nom nom". We're both pretty sure that we will eventually accidentally forward one of these messages to one of our bosses...
