I would like to know

What are people thinking when they label medicine sold in Australia as, "must be stored between 15 and 25 degrees C"?

We don't all have air conditioning.

I thought fridge too.

We had a pt in one of our clinics who thought that the note on his meds (very important meds) that told him to keep them refrigerated meant he couldn't take them out - so he didn't take them!!!

No,that's the problem. If it were just "keep under 25 C" the fridge would be fine. But 15 C is 59 F, and fridges are usually around 4 C.

Anyway, I already solved the problem by ignoring the warning and hoping room temperature didn't get above 25 C (77 F). It probably did, but what can you do?

well...find the coolest. darkest room, and then put the meds in the coolest, darkest, most bottomest corner - that's what i do with my carefully important German chocolate (beware of mice hough...)

kb aka brainy as of my newly instated (and very slow) blog
