Okay, this is getting silly

So this time they thankfully didn't do any damage. They just broke in (not hard now that the front window doesn't actually close and the back one still doesn't have any glass in it), and moved our car to a different parking space in our building's garage.

Is someone trying to make a point?

oh wow, i'd be pretty ticked by now! it sounds like someone with too much time on their hands. i'd probably have called the cops at least once, even if they didn't technically break anything this time, it sounds pretty malicious. hope you can figure out who's doing that before they mess with the brakes like they did the steering.

Maybe they are trying to make a point -- do you have assigned spots? I know our building management can't seem to keep track of who is supposed to park where.... when we moved in they gave us a spot they'd previously assigned to someone else.

Or -- could you have a disgrutled student on your hands??

Isn't it more likely that they took the car somewhere else - for a joyride - before bringing it back and forgetting where they'd parked it?

We called the cops the other times. They made a note of it. I don't think they are going to care any more this time than the last two.

ITFP: I don't think that's the case. We do have assigned spots, but they clearly have the apartment numbers painted on them and our car was parked in the one with our number (before they moved it).

Jana: we thought that at first too, but nothing was damaged (and without a key I assume they would have had to pull out some wires at least to get it started), the petrol didn't seem to be lower, and what sort of joyrider returns the car afterwards???
