That is... that is even worse than my father occasionally calling me "lover" by mistake (obviously something he calls his partner).
I'm sorry, but it made me laugh! Alliteration and sex, all in one! (err, well, I'm pretty sure about the alliteration, but if he's talking about some feline for real, then it's all in my dirty mind!)

I thought the entire purpose of a euphemism was NOT to make the reader/hearer/whatever totally grossed out.
