Good grief, does he need to go on a diet, or get some feather de-fluffer?
ITPF: that's EXACTLY what he looks like.
I think it's a bit of both, EA.
And Geeka, the birds here at least get an extra layer of down in autumn and moult it off again in the spring. It means they look fluffier than usual in winter. This one is in the process of moulting still, I think, which might be part of it.
Moulting or not, he's still pretty chubby. But chubby in a cute, parrot way.
