Good grief, does he need to go on a diet, or get some feather de-fluffer?
This is very funny to me. I was just commenting the other day that our current crop of birdies look a little portly. I don't know if it is because I am overfeeding them, or if it has to do with the imminent onslaught of winter.
ITPF: that's EXACTLY what he looks like.I think it's a bit of both, EA.And Geeka, the birds here at least get an extra layer of down in autumn and moult it off again in the spring. It means they look fluffier than usual in winter. This one is in the process of moulting still, I think, which might be part of it.
Moulting or not, he's still pretty chubby. But chubby in a cute, parrot way.
