I once spoke to someone in a railway station in Göttingen because I assumed their Macpac backpack must mean they were a New Zealander. (That was how I learned that Macpacs are sold in Germany, too.)
Incidentally, Styleygeek, if you want to make Australians roll about laughing, all you need to do is to tell them, "I have a Macpac backpack". Hilarity will ensue.
