Delicacy and tact run in my family

My mother to my grandmother: "Are you still having enough pleasant times every day to make it worthwhile being alive?"

My grandmother: "Are you?"

Holy WOW!

I sent you an email, just in case :)

And am sending you virtual good thoughts, dreams of happy parrots, and chocolate.

Ummm... do the words "delicacy" and "tact" mean different things in New Zealandish than they do in American?

also, will you please go to propter doc's place and make up some captions for her birds? I keep checking to see what funny thing you would come up with.

I can't do it, Shrinky! I have stared at those photos for ages, but I think my funny button is broken.

The pics are hilarious even without captions, though. Especially the middle one.

At least when you get old, you'll probably have snappy comebacks like grandma :).

As much as your mum complains, I can see why your grandma responded as she did :).

Shrinky:

(1) You do know that you are now ENTIRELY responsible for the tone of the google searches that lead to this blog, right? First adjectival clitoriseses (clitori?) and now this. Hrmph.

(2) Parting thoughts? Does this look like the sort of blog that has thoughts? I'm not one of those stinking thinking bloggers. (Oooh, that rhymes!) <- that was the closest I suspect I will come to having a thought today.

(3) Yes, I'm back, and the main page now has an update.

Your Mom is such a Mom! I can't think of a better way to express that, so I hope that makes sense!
