Geekman could teach our news anchors (and maybe even Michael Cullen himself) a thing or two about descriptors! PLOP!

The Man once referred to some people we met who were very rich but had appallingly bad taste, 'bubbled-up rich.' They had become rich in the so-called Bubble Years (80s) here.

Maybe NZ will have some uppity-rich people in years to come. (Whereas those of us who earn in other currencies are suddenly finding ourselves ploppity-poor.)
