The last day of teaching for the semester, especially with three assignments still to mark before the first class, is an especially bad time to wake up with a hangover.

Thanks! A couple of cups of strong coffee and ten times as much water got me to the point where I could do the marking and survive the first class. By the second I was completely recovered.
But now I think I have a "teaching is over" hangover.
