Observation on last night's movie
(The Da Vinci Code)

I've probably said it before, but it's still true. It's always a bad sign when the audience cracks up laughing at the emotional climax of the film.

I've heard that a lot of people laughed at "inappropriate" spots. Why on earth did you go see it though? The US has so many better film exports.

Free films (university film club: pay $50 and get free entrance to all their films for the year-- of which there are 8 or 9 shown a week).

When free stuff is involved, I can't help myself. But the movie theatre was REALLY packed. So a lot of people must have been expecting it to be good.
